Brighton Charged £25 For Their Liverpool Cup Tie 21:47 - Nov 7 with 785 viewsSaintNick

Saints fans are up in arms about the £30 price tag for the Liverpool cup tie, in comparison in the last round Brighton charged £25 & £15 for under 18's so were dearer for that category than Saints

I sort of agree with you Nick, although it would have been nice to offer £20/253tickets for ST holders as many don't bother with cup games., and charge 30 for everyone else.
I paid £63 for 2 today, £3 to put them on the App

The Echo site is full of comments saying we'd rather watch it on TV, probably some who paid more than £30 for the PL game which sold out sharp for a Sky Sunday game. (I don't know the prices for this game)

When you think if you pitched up at Eastleigh this Saturday to watch Braintree it would cost you 20 sovs to watch 22 players you've probably never heard of before, 10 sovs more for one of the best teams in Europe is hardly rip off Britain,

Exactly my points, it would have been nice, but it isn't that much dearer than what anyone else is charging as I have said elsewhere, the same thing happened when we played Chelsea in the FA cup semi, the internet was full of fans complaining about the cost of tickets and when it was pointed out that there were tickets at £30 up in the upper tier that they were too high etc.

They forgot about the only thing that matters to moan about and that is a lack of success, we get a sniff and lots of people have to find something else to moan about
