Not sure that this would have been a good signing for us, Forster will be 38 in March, since he left us in May 2023, he has played just 21 League games for Spurs and indeed just 7 in the last two seasons for him
His last actual game for Spurs was December 2024 so over a year ago,
Presumably for the last 7 months he has not been doing a lot, I can see why Bournemouth have done it as their back up is injured, but if their regular keeper picks up an injury they might struggle.
If Bournemouth lose at home to Arsenal today and West Ham win at Wolves, then Bournemouth could be looking over their shoulders a little |

Thanks for all the opinions whether i agree with them or not, football would be a very boring game if we all agreed on everything.
In the main this year we have had some lively debates, but few of them have got abusive on a personal level.
We all have our favourite players and those that we love to hate, the whole fun is arguing the toss about them all.
I might not agree with them all as i say, but I defend your right to say them and indeed i give a platform for them even if I vehemently disagree, I have never taken down a post purely on disagreeing with a footballing opinion post.

I have no opinion of the potential new guy other than his track record, which is basically 71 games in the Israelli league and 2 1/2 years sitting on his arse in Germany .
There is nothing there to suggest that he is any better than what we have already.
It is strange that when we make a signing like this, this message board is usually full of people complaining about Sport Republic only signing players to loan out to Goztepe, Matteusz Lis had a better track record and look at the stick he got.
But hey its Gavin Bazunu so lets applaud Johannes Spors for this one
I love the fact that save percentage is brought up time and time again, this is not the greatest of stats, Viktor Johansson has let in only 1 less goal than Bazunu, but has had around 30 more shots to save.
If Bazunu has 10 shots on target today, they could all be weak efforts that he stops easily, if he stopes them all then he will have made 49 saves from 72 on target and his save ratio will rise from 63.9% to around 70% in one game.
In this table that takes a lot more than saves into account he is 3rd best keeper in the championship.

1, Ipswich Town away last season the 2-1 win was a great result and a great day out although ultimately didn't mean much
2. Manchester City at home last season we got a point and made sure we didn't share the record lowest points total
3. Charlton away this season, probably doesn't need much explaining |

1. I came in from the M5 for the 1st time I think, it didn't seem too bad from that direction
2. The price I paid in the City Centre wasn't too bad I think I paid about £6 for a premium beer., The pub in Digbeth was £5.30 for a staropramen, much more to me liking
3. I know him quite well, he is Ok just likes to take selfies and get himself on telly I suppose |

1. The ground is a bit of a walk from the City Centre, but there are some good pubs along the way, one of which was truly old school 19th century, sadly not many pubs like it in Southampton anymore.
2. For a Monday night at 5pm Birmingham city centre was packed, the bars were busy and not really football trade either.
3. I had a room on the 18th floor of my hotel, a great view of the City, sadly it was Birmingham and not New York, Berlin or another iconic skyline, but was what you would expect to see from a Birmingham City hotel window.
4. Good to bump into ex Saints player David Hughes in the hotel bar, nice to see ex players who support the club and he was celebrating his birthday which is today
5.Good turnout from Saints supporters and they stuck with the team, truly the 12th man |

I was stood next to a lad last night with a pure Brummie accent, turned out his dad was from Southampton and moved up to Birmingham when he married this fellas mum, but he made sure his son supported Saints.
Apparently this lad goes to a few away games as well as some home ones, good to see that we have some support in the second city |

Not sure what more he could do, the fella was left unmarked to pick his spot for the first goal and the second goal the player was right through and lashed the ball past him from close range.
I would be more concerned why there was no one on the edge of the box to pick up loose balls for the first goal and how just a big hoof left their man right through on goal, than whether the keeper should have done better |

I went to Goodison Park to watch Everton play Middlesbrough, a crowd of 41,105 watched the game and i left the ground to hear on the tannoy that Saints had lost at home to Sheffield Wednesday 1-0, 15,243 were at that one |
