Former U's 13:45 - Feb 26 with 7825 viewsRSCOSWORTH

We love our former U's, well most of them anyway, so thought I'd start a thread where we can keep up with them.

Thought I'd kick things off with a happier moment for Matt Jay in Essex as he scored a long ranger against Chelmsford at the weekend. It wasn't a joyous return though as Torquay shipped two late goals to lose 3-2 after leading 2-0.

Jay also got the equaliser away at Weston-super-Mare last night. Hopefully he's starting to enjoy his football again.

Reading extended their unbeaten League One run to 11 games as they breezed past Peterborough at the SCL Stadium.

The Royals held a 1-0 half-time lead courtesy of an early own goal by Posh skipper Sam Hughes and were soon 3-0 up in the second half after efforts from Harvey Knibbs and Charlie Savage.

Kwame Poku reduced the deficit for Peterborough but the disappointing visitors were rarely in the hunt.

Stockport boosted their League One play-off hopes with a comfortable 3-0 win over Stevenage at Edgeley Park.

Jayden Fevrier put County ahead while Luther James-Wildin's own goal and Jack Diamond's low finish after half-time secured victory.

Mingi nowhere to be seen for the last few months!

That's a massive shame, feel for him, as it was going so well for him up there.

Northampton secured another season of League One football by thrashing already relegated Shrewsbury 4-1 at Sixfields on Easter Monday.

Dara Costelloe scored two, one in either half, while Aaron McGowan and Cameron McGeehan were also on target as the Cobblers mathematically confirmed their survival.

Stockport County sealed their place in the League One play-offs with victory over a Huddersfield Town side who finished with 10 men.

J. Fevrier started and played 60' before being subbed off.

Still no sign of Mingi!

Joe Taylor came on as an 85' sub for Hudds.
