Sheehan - The Man For All Seasons ? 12:59 - Mar 30 with 883 views | STID2017 | IMHO he has done really well. He gets the fans, the club, the players - but will he get the job ? Only time will tell, especially if he finishes the season strongly. I really hope so. IMHO the fans need to show their support for him over the next few games so the owners are in no doubt who we want

Sheehan - The Man For All Seasons ? on 13:11 - Mar 30 with 857 views | Dr_Winston | He's as inconsistent as his team at the moment. Started very well, then made some questionable, and in the case of the Burnley game, downright bonkers decisions. Yesterday you'd have to say he got most of the major calls right, although there's no way on Earth that anyone should be starting Cullen up top on his own. I'd still prefer someone with more of a track record/experience behind him, but he's got plenty of games left to make his case.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

This is where I’m at as well. Won two, drawn two, lost two. We’ve played very well three times (first two home games and Leeds) badly in both defeats and were very lucky to scrape a draw at Preston. In fairness, he’s played Leeds and Burnley and now has a dream run of fixtures to make his case. I think that because we’re playing so much better than we did for Williams’ last ten games or so and are better to watch than we were at any point under him, there’s a tendency to think Sheehan is as good as it gets. For me, we don’t get anywhere near danger under him, but top half would be a great season. Reality is, it’s impossible to have a firm opinion without knowing our other options.

Agreed. Play like yesterday and he states his case, play like against Burnley and it's less so. At least the end of the season will be very interesting.

Not being funny but not many managers would have got a tune out of us against burnley, burnley had several more gears to go up. Ateotd we have a poor squad and sheehan is getting quite a bit out of them.

Also, I think calling Sheehan inconsistent is forgetting the run of form we were in when he took over. He had a lot of work to do just to get them doing anything like we have seen this last 6 games. It's not just about the poor squad, he's had to turn attitudes around and rebuild confidence. Some of our players have looked absolute trash but under Sheehan they have made big strides, Fulton looks ok again, Vipotnik is looking like a decent striker. It does help massively that O'Brien looks a real uograde on Grimes. That's my opinion anyway.

Sheehan - The Man For All Seasons ? on 21:01 - Mar 30 with 436 views | GVJack | Hopefully with the support of the coaches he's brought in who can reinforce his style and tactics he can go on and have a decent run to the end of the season. If we can pick up another 9-10pts and finish reasonable comfortably mid-table then Id like to see him be rewarded a 2 year deal on better terms and backed in the summer.
