My thoughts this morning are with a man who said we were punching above our capabilities. To a man who said we should be competing in either the North West Counties or the National League North. To a man who manufactured relegation and sipped champagne when we went down. To a man who brought the club to its knees and nearly to extinction.... Roger, my thoughts are really with you today. It must be painful for you!
To the '12' who rescued the club from the lion's mouth, to the Ogden family and all those involved who ensured we are back where we rightly belong. Steven Phillips wrote a book about Dale in the 80's called 'The Survivors'. He did that for a reason.

Dear Marjorie,
I was thinking the same on the way home yesterday. It's almost five years since 1st June 2021, when shareholders made decisions that, frankly, saved the club from oblivion. They wouldn't lie down and take the word(s) of a self-serving individual. They with supporters fought off a challenge from its evil friends. A few good men invested to save the day and The Dale, then the Ogden's put everything right, culminating in a success yesterday that was never achieved in the days of the self-serving one. All days never to be forgotten.
I'm told it, in its belief that it is the world's greatest toy seller, it has manufactured a product in its own image on hearing of our promotion yesterday.

Instead of building houses at Spotland, we're now building a future for the club, us supporters and our community.
Eternal gratitude to Simon, Richard, Jamie, Guy, Tony and Jan for taking on the mess and keeping the deluge at bay until we were able to introduce the Ogden family. Simply the best thing ever to happen to the club, even better than our pie awards.
The change in direction engineered by fans and shareholders has ultimately seen us win our first ever trophy at the iconic home of English football. What a moment. Brought me to actual tears.
So, no more cronyism or big pay awards with no football income, shysters being entertained,or law of the land lectures.
We have a club, we have a plan and we have a future back in the Rochdale division.

Roger goes from strength to strength…..his current employers have a quarter final cup game at the weekend but have yet to find somewhere to play it.
