Dawson is a fantastic player, a younger better version of Clint Hill, a leader at the back, good in the air, strong tackler, reads the game well, it's a bloody superb signing. Yes he's over priced but he's English which always adds on a few million. |  | | |

If he passes the medical then this is great news. There's a worldwide shortage of decent centre backs so if we can get two good ones then it's a massive boost to our chances.
