Bobby Grant 14:41 - Jan 27 with 1370 views | BA_88 | Hi, Bristol City fan here. I heard a rumour after yesterday's game that we could be in for Robert Grant. Just wondering if anyone could give any opinions on him? What sort of player is he? From what I gather he can play in midfield or up top and likes to try his luck from distance. His goal tally so far this season for you lot is pretty decent. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks BA_88

I don't think handle is the correct word.

No. Hill didn't send him back. Scunthorpe recalled him, If i remember rightly, he had to get off the team coach half way to a game because he had been recalled. Hill seemed to like grant last time around.

Aye, good point. Pay us a bit now and you can have him in the summer when he'd only cost twice as much. Or at least 50p more.

What if it were a loan with a view to a permanent move in the summer?

He can't play for another club. And you couldn't afford Bobby. Get out 300k and we'll start talking.

The law is the player can be registered with three clubs permanently during a season but only play for two. So grant could sign for city but not play for them

Fair enough. I heard our new man O'Driscoll is a keen admirer and tried to sign him when he was at Doncaster but Grant decided to go to Scunthorpe instead. If we were interested I don't think coming up with 300k would be a problem. Recently we've adopted a new transfer policy of trying to buy youngish players for modest amounts that we can develop ourselves. Who knows what division we will be in next season, maybe we are planning for the future? Thanks for your replies on the matter.

Re-read the link, it says 3, in any league, in any country. Anyway this Bobby Grant rumour, has been about since 16th Jan, when someone posted it on that bullsh!t site. Personally I think its just that, bullsh!t.

I remember that, I always thought that was Josh Lillis.

Bobby Grant on 17:44 - Jan 27 with 817 views | R442D | Doubt that its even a possible transfer, we've barely had him 5 minutes. But, he's a good player. Got a nice strike on him, good pace too. But like I said, doubt you'll be in for him this transfer window -I doubt even the next.
