Agreed. Mackie is a great player. But any time we start with him on the field we are wasting a spot on the field and all his talent. He is fantastic off the bench. That is when he has excelled. When he comes in and injects that extra speed and energy, that is when he makes a difference. Starting him just shows how few attacking options we have inspite of 29 transfers in 2 years. |  |

I think we are finding that the answer to the question, what happens to a prem team that needs to start Mackie, Derry, and Hill is they get relegated.
It means we cannot keep possession of the football and therefore can't build attacks and ultimately can't score.
