I have appealed to the EFL about our signing of Mark Leonard, I know this was years back but still had a dramatic impact on the club, ironically pie sales went up when he signed!!!! | |

If bURY had done this we would be pissing ourselves for weeks, what a tinpot shambles of a joke that message the club have sent out is, we have signed a load of f’ing billboards for a bit. Awesome.
Having said that you can see them from whitworth rd and Castleton so, ffs give me strength!!!
I fully support marketing the club and getting attendances up, but to make out it’s a signing!!!!
Whoever has done this needs, imho, a great big kick up the arse ala father ted, clearly they have made a big deal of something, that will probably result in little, having exited existing fans!

its Just beyond a joke fitz.
Anyone with half a brain would make this a community story about encouraging more fans, maybe give out some free kids tickets and snap a few pictures of the intended billboards with a couple of local school classes, what do them in charge do, dress someone up like they were in football factory and announced a new signing!
It’s an absolute shambles of a decision, made by someone totally out of touch with reality, wanting to whip up a story about effectively nothing.

I talked about a lousy curry I had on Halifax rd once to my mates in the pub, was ill for about 2 days, it raised the profile of the curry house amongst my friends, so I effectively marketed I guess. Just none of us ever ate there again and they lost business.
Raising somethings profile does not make it a more attractive proposition, not that that stupid new signing nonsense has done either in truth. | |
