If the Fulham captain gets sent off v Manchester City when being the last man and denying a goal scoring opportunity why does the Gillingham goalkeeper not even get a yellow card?
Because he pulled the City player back by the shirt he made no attempt to play the ball - this is still a red card offence. The Gills keeper tried to get the ball but Norrington-Davies was just too quick for him - this is not a red card offence - there should have been a yellow card though (innept ref).

Did he try and get the ball? To me and Ian Holloway on Quest he just looked to 'wipe out' RND and judging by the comments from the Rochdale management team they think the same!

Yes he attempted to get the ball and caught RND.
