Keaton Mulvey has joined Mossley on loan - surely this means we’re due one in today?

That's exactly what I thought when I saw it.

Great move for him to get some first team experience. Hopefully Wade will get a similar move.

Mossley have removed their tweet it looks like, maybe they've had a bollocking off us? Deal must be happening as Keaton himself retweeted it saying he can't wait to get started.

Maybe the club are worried about the reaction it will cause seeing us let a striker go out on loan when we don't have other striking options, or, and I will come out in a rash for this positivity, but maybe, just maybe, we have a striker coming in?

If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor

There’s no doubt Mulvey would benefit from this move as he’s still very raw but given how light we are up top, there’s no way ANY striker would be allowed out unless one was coming in.

That's not true.

But how can it be justified when we have no forwards who are likely able to contribute at least 9/10 goals throughout a season?

Pandemic or no pandemic, Mulvey was always going to be sent out on loan this season. He was never going to be thrust straight into the first team.

Our search for a forward is no reflection on this loan move either way.

I think it's a weird one I feel like he could have potentially played at a higher level on loan but due to the fixtures being uncertain I think going to the 9th tier for 3 months is probably the only reliable option of getting some game time. I should imagine he'll continue to train with us and in 3 months time it could be that we might need him, if not he could then go on loan to a higher league.

You can understand why the club wouldn’t want Mossley tweeting about Mulvey just yet; fans will inevitably wonder whether an arrival is imminent when an outgoing is announced.

Patience has never been more of a virtue.

In the stockport game, I thought Mulvey, played better then Taveres, based on what I saw of him, but I hope the loans helps us in the long-term

Who in the right mind would sign Tutte, if Morecambe fans thought he was rubbish.

If this is the level of 'ambition' that exists at our club, then it's time that things changed in the board room. This story may well fizzle out (I hope), but given what's happened since March, I would rule nothing out. We've been given more messages about being skint than anything else. Maybe we're all being groomed to accept this kind of unacceptable tripe.

I feel desperately sorry for BBM, even without this kind of rumour circulating. He must be at his wits end. He deserves a chance to shine, but I doubt it will be here.

Given that social distancing will very much be the norm for the foreseeable future, this could be a very astute signing for the club.

I can just imagine how you would react if Tutte & Calvin signed.

A bit like when General Zod realises, whilst having his hand crushed by Superman, that the chamber actually transferred his, and his two accomplices (Ursa and the other fella), powers to Superman and not the other way around. As summarised succinctly at the time by Lex Luther.
A bit like that.

Cant see this being official as the midfield isnt an are that requires signings unless he is Rathbones replacement..

Another CB and 2 possible strikers is urgently needed..

Hang on I thought sharing rumours put out on the EFL hub twitter account was punishable by a stint in the town stocks for being a weak minded imbecile or something like that.
