Sadly passed away at 94. Terrific actor. To Sir with love is one of my fave films. One of many great films he appeared in.

To Sir With Love film is a film from my childhood with an important message which really made an impression on me. I actually didn’t know he was still alive until today, but good that he reached a ripe old age. He was a great actor of his time.

Yes Really liked his films I saw. What was that one where he was a detective?
Really good actor who transcended the role of the “token black person” in films and was the catalyst that made me aware that black people were no different to the rest of "us". (That sounds awful now but those were the prevalent views back then).
