Yes - as previously illustrated, signing a player isn’t a quick process. The ambition was to get it done in time and I’m sure everything was done to get it sorted in time, but it clearly wasn’t possible.

It was mentioned that the club hoped to have it tied up before the noon deadline, not they definitely had.
