Just been thinking about the Benali signing and it puzzles me. We need proven experienced players anybody can see that, but City contact us to take one of their youth players, somebody who has never made a league appearance and didnt even make the bench yesterday and we now have to try to accomodate the player in a struggling team.
I would love to know what Jonah, Kennedy, Holness etc really think about the new recruits SE has brought in, there must be a divide between the players because by the sounds of it SE looks on the ex City players like family.
The players have stated they are only at the club because SE is the manager, what a terrible message to send out to team mates and also the fans. Body language can speak a thousand words and from what i can see players who have been there and done it like Jonah, dont look over impressed with some of the posing prima donas we now seem to have at the club.
Like i said a couple of weeks ago, we have players who specialise in looking good when in reality they are doing naff all, players who have been cosseted and given everything on a plate since a very young age. Now they are in the muck and bullets of real professional football lets see if they have the belly for the fight !! [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]
