As many of you know I recently purchased a flag for the new ground off eBay, global trading is fantastic if all goes well!...Anyway you remember the flag arrived in good condition and as described with ! love [heart] NY on the front, but the seller neglected to mention it bore the legend "Gay Pride" on the back!
Anyway I opened a case through eBay and the seller has been, well, very accommodating and has apologized for the mix up and has now made me a partial refund, AND, I have managed to removed the "Gay Pride" letters off the back so all well.
I have kept in touch with him, his name is Randolph who seems really friendly, as a New York resident he is very intrigued about the "New York Stadium" so much so he wants to come over with a few of his mates to take in a game of "soccer" as he calls it..lol
Randolph is in London for some or other march from 23rd June to 8th July 2012 and wants to come to Rotherham for one of our friendly game's he says there will be around 20 of them in total, they intend to set up a RUFC supporters club in the big apple!!
Randolph sent me his photo, he's the one on the left.
