Sky Subscriptions 12:58 - Jul 12 with 1098 views | BigKindo | Just had a letter advising that they are increasing their charges by another £ 2-50 starting August. Excellent news for the greedy overpaid players with their noses in the trough.
Sky Subscriptions on 14:23 - Jul 12 with 1000 views | Dale1940 | I got the same letter a month ago and rang them and told them to cancel, but they came back and offered me 20% off over 12 months which I accepted. This is the second time in 3 years I have had 20% off after threatening to cancel

The screen on my home phone is only about 3 square inches in size. Does that mean I need to buy a new phone?
| When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf? |

Just been on the phone for 20 minutes and they wouldn't budge an inch. Fortunately I found a geographic telephone number which worked and I didn't have to use the ever increasing costly 0845 numbers which Virgin Media just love you for using. 020 7126 7020 gets you through to their Scottish call centre. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

The increase is due to the addition of a Formula One sports channel. If there is anything I hate it's watching cars going round in circles for no apparent reason, and me being charged extra money to ignore it. It's a rip-off. Sky Sports subscribers have no choice but to have the F1 channel, whether they want it or not. I asked them to remove it from my package but apparently that's not an option. Fortunately, I can decide who I pay to provide me with TV subscription. It WON'T be Sky from August.
