Just had a letter advising that they are increasing their charges by another £ 2-50 starting August. Excellent news for the greedy overpaid players with their noses in the trough.

I got the same letter a month ago and rang them and told them to cancel, but they came back and offered me 20% off over 12 months which I accepted. This is the second time in 3 years I have had 20% off after threatening to cancel

they've got you by the balls, with ESPN pulling their premiership games, Sky are the only option if you wanna watch the premiershite.

Life is a game of fate.

Not all their money goes to Premiership players! They do cover other sports and even have other channels. There are some very good educational ones surprisingly as well.

The screen on my home phone is only about 3 square inches in size.

Does that mean I need to buy a new phone?

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Just been on the phone for 20 minutes and they wouldn't budge an inch. Fortunately I found a geographic telephone number which worked and I didn't have to use the ever increasing costly 0845 numbers which Virgin Media just love you for using. 020 7126 7020 gets you through to their Scottish call centre.

The increase is due to the addition of a Formula One sports channel.

If there is anything I hate it's watching cars going round in circles for no apparent reason, and me being charged extra money to ignore it. It's a rip-off.

Sky Sports subscribers have no choice but to have the F1 channel, whether they want it or not. I asked them to remove it from my package but apparently that's not an option.

Fortunately, I can decide who I pay to provide me with TV subscription.

It WON'T be Sky from August.
