Speculation about changes Marti might make were interesting but not sure anyone predicted this line up. Forwards unchanged (not many reserves or youngsters who deserve an outing?) but 3 changes at the back and 1 in midfield.

Although there was an end of season feel especially given Coventry's disappointment after their semi final but Rs still did what was needed. They defended well. Walsh was very impressive, but too soon to pile on unrealistic expectations. It would be asking a lot for someone with so little experience to step up to the first team next season.

Fox was excellent in the rejigged defence. Cannon did ok, not sure about EDB, but his sharp pass created the opening for Chair to drive into + score a beauty.

Given Jimmy Dunne's height has been important as an outlet from the back and in set pieces we did well without him. Dykes played well and if he stays Marti has done well to develop his game.

Can't wait for next season.
