1949 (77) Sadly dont go to games anymore. ( except Spennymore ) Don't remember much about the game . But its not like the good old days if a player got whacked he didn't roll all over the place .
I am not very good at computers managed to download a ticket for Spennymore, got to the turn style i didnt know you had to push the bloody door open , There was quite a que giving me dirty looks, Managed to get in through the office. One of the reasons i wont go again. Still i suppose its progress |

Didn't the then manager Doug Collins try / get rid of him . Some thing about he was playing his guitar late at night in the hotel where they were staying after a away night game. Collins probably didn't like the song he was playing. Bobby was probably the only footballer we had at the time. |

Was there at that game and unfortunately all that season. Years later when United got knocked out of some European cup game, kept telling him Dale had an 100 % record in Europe |

Just turned the tv on and the presenter was saying there is going to be a mural to Mani.
Thought great that was quick,turns out its for someone out of the Stone Roses .

It was a the day that Castlefords coach driver refereed the game, 17 to 1 penalty's to Cas and 2 sinbinnings for the Hornets. The biggest cheer of the day was when the ref gave Hornets a penalty |

Think the ref was Ken Redfern, a very good friend of Rochdale whenever he reffereed us.
Dont know how true it was but Ken was supposed to be in a relationship with a woman from Rochdale . |
