Upper mid table mediocrity beckons. Still, I think we’ll finish higher than 16th!
Not sure there’s been a bigger critic on this site of Varane than me over the last two seasons but I have to say there’s been a big improvement in him since he’s come into the team in the last few games. I still don’t think he’s good enough but at least he doesn’t look out of place.
Be interesting to see player stats after this game. I’ve seen him win tackles, put several good balls through to players in good positions and generally be one of our better players. Certainly far better than his recent performances.
I watched this game from about 10 minutes before Morgan came on. He did well, some crisp first time passes, won a couple of tackles and a header. He had a good chance to shoot but played a team mate in on goal who fluffed it. Bradford should have won by more as their finishing was very poor.
Two charged with spying. Still don’t get why they bailed them out so early. I’d be surprised if they hadn’t been under 24hr surveillance whilst on bail.
The next question is why only two out of the five charged?
One criticism. You have needlessly raised the spectre of the manager being poached by a Premier !eague team. Please, don’t do that again. I mean, where would it leave us? (Bereft is the answer). Can we not, for once actually be allowed nice things’.
It certainly beats having just one tactic of knocking it long onto the head of Jimmy Dunne and trying to pick up the scraps. Desperate stuff. This guy is a proper manager and I said from fairly early on that we were lucky to have him.
