I like JS and I’ve never knocked him before (a,though I accept he has made other errors) but I have to agree. The other thing that has concerned me for a while is I wonder if he’s too nice. I just can’t imagine him dishing out a Fergie style hairdryer. If players know they can put in a sub standard performance and pretty much get away with it without a managerial rollicking they’ll be less motivated. I appreciate the injury situation has seriously hamstrung us but passion and effort resulting from an inspiring manager can get you a fair way in this league. For the first time I’m beginning to wonder if, even given a full squad, whether JS has the tools necessary to manage in this league for next season.
Agree about Vale and about him replacing Madsen which, in my worst nightmare happens before the start of next season. Bit harsh on Varane though, he did play one long forward punt…. didn’t go 20 yards within a rangers player.
While Kolli has a goal in him I think Bennie’s all round play is better than Kolli’s. Kolli has a tendency not to retain possession by either misplacing passes, making the wrong decision or having the ball nicked off him. Bennie makes better decisions and his passing is better. Kolli I feel has a tendency to glory hunt whereas Bennie is more team orientated. I’d suggest this is why Bennie had, up til today, been getting more minutes ahead of Kolli.
I’m not sure what Capology uses to estimate these wages or if it’s just random figures for clickbait. IF the figures are true its no wonder Kolli’s Dad is Mr Angry.
Yeah I mentioned that at the time about the total absence of any celebration, emotion or personality of the woman snowboarder. She was actually a bit scary.
I watched all of last nights team skeleton event. The British woman completely blew what was supposed to be a Team GB stroll to the gold medal. She was soooo bad. Fortunately for her Matt Weston put in, for me, the most incredible performance of the entire Winter Olympics and somehow grabbed victory. Amazing TV.
His record is awful. He was sacked from his last job after a couple of months. 2 points won from a possible 24. I know Watford’s owners are bonkers but they may have exceeded themselves this time.
