MoPo was going to Saints training at Staplewood for a couple of months supposedly as an observer before he was appointed He then stabbed St Nigle in the back
At the end of his full season here he said he was not going to another club but was going to have a break That was until he was told he had to pay up his contract Horrible person but he coached in what was a modern way at the time But he never had a plan B
I will give this give guy some time but more in hope than anticipation Just hope he isn't a Croation Nathan and that he can connect with the fans |

This really was a game of two halves
In the first the players looked dejected and lost Tyler looked like he didn't want to be anywhere near the pitch The ironic cheers for a couple of long clearances where soon silenced when the ball came straight back at the defence Our possession stat was less than 25% and we were rubbish at best Had they had the likes of salah etc playing it would have been worse than the Spurs game
In the second half we appeared to have a different mentality and we tried to play the possession game It was helped when they brought on a couple more youngsters that allowed us to dominate the play
We generally looked like a team playing without a plan and without a leader
With the side they put out I wonder if RM and his staff had still been here would be have won ? Who knows |

I don't believe that any coach playing any system would have kept us in the PL with this squad
Look at it Ramsdale relegated twice before Stevens couldn't get a contract or many games on loan at Bournemouth Bednarek rejected at Villa Diaz failed in Spain Archer not wanted by his previous loan club KWP not bothered because he will leave for another PL club

I would say that 20 or 21 thousand will be there week in week out The rest are newbie supporters every now and then To keep them coming the product has to be right

I have just watched Russell's press conference where he states quite clearly that he wants Paul to stay so any comment in a two bit rag isn't worth a mention Stewart isn't going to be fit before Christmas and will then need to be used sparingly so keeping Paul makes sense
Others like Cornet Taylor and a few more will need to make a decision on where they want to be
Most I suspect would rather be on loan at a championship club rather than being a bench warmer at a struggling PL club |
