While thinking about Irish painters, I found this. By Maria Dorothy Webb. 'Girl in an Orchard'.
I'm not huge on visual arts, and I wish I was, but I like this a lot, and may heist it if I can get a likely LFW crew together.
I'll need:
1) The Brains (arrogantly, I thought this was going to be me, but then I realised that I was posting the entire plan on the internet, so, ya, probably best we hand this over to Nix).
2) The Wheels (I can't drive well anymore)
3) The Hacker (I was never good at tech)
4) The Muscle (ok, that used to be me, but I'm old now, but, please, just look mean and wear the big shades and big suit, no violence ok)
5) The Banker (again, I haven't much money right now).

The greatest painters of all time, be they Van Gogh, Monet or Behan (Brendan was a fine writer, but also a house painter and so classified himself as a 'painter') - couldn't have done better than that Dryworld kit. Inutterable beauty. |

I can't get excited about shirt sponsors. I think the whole idea is horrible.
But, seeing as we're stuck with them, I agree with Spaceman and Westway that these two weren't as intrusive as others.

Dunne's mistake, to my eyes, was just a poor second of decision-making.
Option A -Boot it out.
Option B - If you're feeling really confident and want to play the ball, then you get your body between the oppo player and the ball.
Unfortunately, he did neither.
In the first minute of any game, when you're the last man back, I think he'd normally pick Option A every time.
Edit - sp.check. Also, just to add that I'm sure it's one of those things where Dunne fessed up at HT. I thought he recovered fine from the mistake. [Post edited 20 Sep 16:16]

I definitely agree with that, Vancouver, but we're here to get points and get promoted and - even allowing for the red card and two goals conceded - if our decision-making and finishing was up to scratch in this game we'd have three points in the bag by now. |
