Think he does them for most big games Col, he is very good. And as Loftboy says a LOT of people think he actually talks like that…every now and again he posts some hate messages he’s received…properly deranged.

I agree re the Pickford comparison. I watched Norn Iron and England on consecutive nights last week and Charles looked his usual assured self, quick and decisive distribution…Pickford gives me the willies the way he faffs around and I’m sure doesn't help the nerves if his defenders. I think he is becoming the weaker link of this England team.
Back to your main point, to be that assured and confident at his age is quite remarkable. Long may it continue for us and him. |

Is there a rule stopping him from coming on? I mean, it’s OK for an outfield player to play in goal in case of injury, could it not work the other way?
