I’ve seen a couple of films in the last week or so.
Tony is a part of the early life of Anthony Bourdain, author of the book Kitchen Confidential. I thought it was quite good. Unspectacular but well acted and a plausible take on Cape Cod life.
The Incomers is a bit like a grown up feature length episode of the tv show Round The Twist. |

I've always liked the Express. Black Dog up the road is very good too. A few people I know rave about the Brook next to the old Griffin Park site. Quite pricey from what I've heard and a craft beer pub and closed more than it's open. |

I popped into the Express Tavern yesterday and had a couple of pints of Wimbledon Kaiser Vienna lager. A cask lager minus the cold and fizzy bit and pretty good. |

Anchor and Hope is a funny little pub on that leg of the Capital Ring. Well worth a visit. |

Enjoy the King Charles I It's a proper hidden gem! Another not far away is the Wenlock Arms. I like to combine the two with a stroll along the Regents Canal. |

Rye in Sussex is a good place to go for old pubs. I've not got exact dates but The Old Bell and the Mermaid have been around a very long time and have hidden smugglers tunnels running between them apparently. I was in the Ypres Castle Inn a few weeks ago which feels very old but is merely 17th century but great! The Waterworks micropub is not an old pub but is situated in a very old toilet and you can purchase such beers such as 'Urinal Best Bitter' and 'Pissoir Porter'
