Rudoni would be a good signing. He gave one of the best individual performances I saw at Loftus Road this season. Also it would give Clive the opportunity to roll out his “typical QPR signing could have had him for a fraction of the price when he was playing down the road at Wimbledon” routine.

Another good performer at Loftus Road was Jamie Allen of Coventry. One year on his contract and they mentioned in the commentary the other week that he might be moving on. 29 now so not a youngster and only managed 1 goal and 1 assist this season. Both against us.

I suspect we won’t sign either of these players and tbh I hope that the Rangers scouting network extends a bit beyond the scope of ‘looked quite good from R block this season’.

Another name I hear mentioned a lot is Alfie May who had another prolific season in League 1 this time with Charlton. Will be 31 at the start of next season but like Jamie Allen might be worth a look at the right price. Although there must be a reason why nobody has taken a chance with him at Championship level before this.

Only reason I’d like to see Huddersfield relegated is that it could possibly open the door to us signing Jack Rudoni, who I thought was excellent against us. Simultaneously one of the best performances and worst hairdos I saw all season.

Sheffield Wednesday for me although no strong preference about the other one. Stoke and Blackburn would be no great loss to the fixture list. I’d keep Birmingham only as it’s a decent away day and we quite often win up there.
