Nope, sorry chaps prefer to concentrate on the fact that we showed immense character and performed as a unit for the majority of the second half, after bad mistakes in the first. You win games in your head as much as you do on the pitch. To concentrate on that, best forgotten, first half would be an incredibly ridiculously stupid thing to do, IMHO.
Milton Nascimento and Fernando Brant wrote this song about a train that ran from Bahia, a small beach on the Brazilian Atlantic coast to Minas Gerais (or just "Minas"), a very productive but landlockced state in the heart of the Brazilian territory. Minas Gerais is also the birthplace of both Milton Nascimento and Brant. The railroad and its locomotives (generally known in Brazil as Maria Fumaça, "Smokey Mary") were deactivated in 1966, so it seems the song is a nostalgic account of a lost time, a simpler time, as this seems to be the theme of many songs by Nascimento and Brant. I got this info from a comment about this song.
Don't know what is 'woke' about it. Just a ridiculous decision by people who don't understand the importance of the hoops and what it means for home games. Blue and white hoops only at home. Incredibly out of touch yes, woke no.
Sad to say I don't have a good feeling about this one. Think we'll start the game very sharp with a quick goal by Vale. But after that it will be all (mostly) rovers, scoring 2 or 3. Hope I'm wrong, obviously. Edit: just want to add, if we can win there with an impressive 90 min performance then I believe that we will be the bog's dollocks this season.
