And I get two! I notified them of a change in email address so it looks like I was added to the list instead of the address being amended. |

But we very rarely take the long ball option, even when it is the best option. |

Shouldn't someone connected to the Dale, such as the Trust, be registering this as opposed to someone connected to the egg chasers? |

Not sure that another EGM would be needed to sell at a price higher than 22p. The resolution only prevents a sale at less than its nominal value. But then I'm not an expert in this field. |

Think that's a bit harsh take on the answer especially when placed in the context of what is said further down "...Engagement with the club will not change, supporters are at the heart of the club and the investor will want to find ways to work with the trust. The shareholding may change but the relationship wont." IMO it's badly worded. i think the "problem" is that despite the best efforts of the Trust and supporters, there is no viable way that we can remain a fan owned club. |

Excluding the stadium redevelopment, the evangelism part reminds me of the guy in charge at Burnley. Although not looking good in the Prem, at least he backed Kompany to get them out of the Championship. Hope Scott can get us out of the National League. |

Agree it is bonkers, but it was mentioned at the AGM that an EGM would be called to remove the need for an auditor. I'm assuming that at that stage there were no potential investors etc in the wings, so it was a purely cost saving measure. Excuse me for being naive! |

As far as I'm aware, the cost saving won't be "in excess of £25000". Although that is the figure quoted in the accounts, I raised it at the AGM as to why it was more than double the previous year's figure. The answer given (by Tony Pockney if memory serves) was that WMG had undertaken additional one-off audit work How much the saving will be depends on how much the previous year's fee £10,525 has been increased. This is one of teh questions the Trust has b put to the BoD |

Slightly off topic, but Sky reporting that Torquay (remember them?) are to go into administration as the owner can no longer provide financial aid support. |

Didn't the Trust put forward an alternative at the EGM that resulted in the removal of t##t Bottomley? |

Not as recent as those mentioned, but also Ian Evatt at Bolton. Weren't we looking at him at one stage when he was at Barrow? |
