The simultaneous ticket limit restriction is only a guess / thought. This was their original comms re. ticketing.

"Tickets will be available directly from FanBase via Rochdale's platform"

"Season ticket holders who have registered their account on FanBase will receive communication of a link and password to access the allocation to purchase tickets. Rochdale have set it to a maximum of six tickets per account holder."

Obviously, we don’t know the rationale behind it, but this seems to be what was put in place. It hasn’t gone down well with a lot of their fans, and hopefully a similar outcome can be avoided if we find ourselves in the same situation as the away team in the future.

That's a conclusion that I have arrived at too. It's a shame if Fanbase isn't sophisticated enough to simultaneously allow different ticket limits for home and away fans especially where both clubs already use the platform. Hopefully something for their developers to look at if that's the case.

It seems that Scunthorpe fans who missed out are now targeting the remaining Sandy Lane tickets and subsequently having them cancelled.

This seems to have been compounded by many claiming they didn't even receive the link to purchase tickets even though they are season ticket holders.

Lots of very unhappy Scunthorpe fans by the sounds of things. Their official Twitter account implying Dale have set the ticketing rules as it’s our home game meaning Scunthorpe season ticket holders could buy 6 each.

Assuming he doesn’t go to a club in Scotland or abroad would we be due compensation for Morley if he left in the summer? According to google he is still only 21 years old (22 in Feb) & I think he has been at the club his whole career and progressed through the academy.

Everything seems to be weighted in favour of the bigger clubs these days but if this is the case does anyone know how compensation amounts are calculated?

I am sure you are right although it doesn’t sound like there is much to look at accounts wise. What’s available is misleading at best according to this at least.

I don’t know much about the ins and outs but he was a football agent & many of the players they recruit seem to come from his contacts abroad including a lot of ropey signings.

No doubt the laundering comment is well off the mark but I wouldn’t be using him as an example of a perfectly good and well-meaning owner either.

Very worrying. If you already had 40% but needed / wanted 51% then you would definitely make sure you were making all the right noises to the current board / chairman & supporters trust.

The warning from Swindon was stark to say the least (Assuming it's the same Curran but why the secrecy?)

An interesting take on the situation at Oldham. Their owner is hated by the latics fans I know, they feel the club has been run abysmally under his tenure and the only reason they can see for his continued involvement is money laundering.

Didn’t we have a Swindon fan on here recently warning if this is anything to do with the Curran who has been involved at their place then we shouldn’t believe a word they say?

I suppose we all need more information.
