| Forum Reply | where will we finish next season... at 21:59 29 May 2024
With Marti pulling the strings, I'd say that the top half of the table is a minimum expectation. Even with last season's squad, it wouldn't be completely out of the question, given a full season in charge. If we're still in with a shout of a play-off spot going into the last 6 games, that'd be outstanding. Realistically: 12th-10th place and safe in good time.* Optimistically: a late run at the Play-Off spots to keep us all interested.* * Assuming the summer transfer business is any good. Doesn't have to be perfect, just not shite, for once. |

Seen written in small letters on the recently-painted white wall of a working men's club near Mattersey: 'I need a damn shag, now'. How desperate do you have to be to advertise your sexual availability in a grammatically correct format on the wall of a small WMC? More to the point, was this an offer, a plea for help or simply a statement of fact? In which case were there other examples of the oeuvre stating the desire for toast or the need for a dump scattered around the town? Nearly 30 yrs later and this graffiti still boggles my mind. I mean, did they ever get the shag? And was it down to the graffiti? |

Always found Leeds fans to be well-balanced: the weight of a chip on both shoulders will do that for you, I suppose. Eyethangyew |

And a submarine dock. You know, for supervillains and that. |

Mumford and Sons - fck them and everyone who likes them. Monkey jizz gargling fcktards. Wham - hated them at the time and that hatred has matured over the years, like a fine wine. Made of kaiju piss. UB40 (after their first album) - I hate them because the first album was fcking brilliant and then...? Corporate fcking elevator muzak. So much potential spunked up the wall, like runny anaglypta. Oasis - you heard. Neither one thing nor the other, style over substance. 'And after all... you can suck my balls'. About as useful as frozen turd dildo. Meghan Traynor - mainly because my daughter has forced me to listen to it. It sickens me. |

Those of a nervous disposition may wish to look away. Lock all pets indoors and close all windows. Gather your loved ones together for safety and comfort at this time. Jordan Archer, our Reserve Keeper Of Hearts, is gone. Stay strong. |

From a safety point of view, I think this has to be taken seriously. Most of us here have played or have kids that do - we owe it to all concerned to have a proper look at this. |

When will the government do something about the scourge of trouncing in our public parks!? Trouncers walking around free to trounce again?! Broken Britain! We're going to hell in a hand-cart... etc etc. Enjoyed the write up. For what it's worth, I thought D just about nailed it for me. Before our Lords and masters decided to change GCSE grades from A*-G to 9-1 (not bad odds), a D was worth 50% to 59%. And that's pretty much where I see Begovic's performance over the season. It's a pass but it's below the standard you'd want, ideally. |

You left out Rummenigge, but that was one of Bayern's greatest sides. |

Back left, for me. No idea why. Just 'works'. |

I just want a win for the Rs. Couldn't give a monkey's what that means outside the QPR family. |

I believe he may be quoting the 18th century Dorsetshire empiricist, Jethro Pharkinell, whose treatise 'Garn, y'barst, er'll rip yer' discussed the nature of universal absolutes in the light of Hume's metaphysics. It was famous for the aphorism 'Moi arrse's, too arrs'. Mind you, I'm nowhere near drunk enough to translate in full. |

'Army's on ecstasy, so they say. Read all about it in USA Today. They brought in urine testing to make it go away 'Cause it's hard to kill the enemy on ol' MDMA.. ' |

Wax your chest, put on a mankini and sing a traditional Irish hard-core gabba techno song about missing your best mate's dog's birthday. I reckon you'd make the top 10 at least. |

Can't wait for the episode of 'Supernatural' where they interview witnesses who swear blind they saw an apparition in hoops seemingly taking part in matches at Loftus Road between 2021 and January 2024. Case unproven. |
