Do you think we lost a lot of our die hard supporters when we moved from the White City stadium... or even moved to the White City stadium ? or any of the other 20 ish grounds we have called home? What is going to stem the financial bleeding in the future? £20m+ p.a. that could be used to improve the team all borrowed and converted into equity. The season after next will be 60 years of going to games there and some of the most wonderful days of my life have taken place in there and I still get emotional on a regular basis at games but the little dark cloud over my head in the last decade has been the spectre of the owners finally say "Enough" and dismantling the club. Perhaps a read of "Who moved my cheese" might prove beneficial. Change doesn't have to be traumatic. |

No wrap around stadium, no running track, real close to the action replacement stadium like Boavista. Could have lower tiers standing, upper tiers sitting, corporate dividing the two levels, even hotel/ conference rooms like Blackpool in the corners. This is what Loftus Road could look like with a modern feel to it. |

A move to Hillingdon would be in the realms of acceptability as it contains a lot of QPR heartland and land around the RAF airfield golf course could facilitate a new stadium with good road and rail access. A decent size stadium based on the Boavista stadium would keep the cosy feel of Loftus Rd. |

| Forum Reply | Single file Queuing.. in pubs! at 10:27 9 Jun 2024
I was in the Grand Union one evening as part of a visiting pub quiz in the mid 90's when a commotion broke out in the car park. A glance out the nearest window showed 2 blokes going at each other with machete/ kukri type knives. Barman locked the doors whilst we waited for the police to turn up and offered those inside (around 25-30) a beer on the house. The police were there inside 10 mins; I doubt that would be the case now. |
| Forum Reply | Dykes injured? at 10:19 9 Jun 2024
A bit different to the support given by Maddison & Grealish if that "on the lash" pic is to be believed. Dykes is every bit the team player and the kind of stalwart that fans are always banging on about being the right sort yet gets dogs abuse on here from quite a number of posters on here. If only we had fans that could survive without a scapegoat. |

I saw Spurs have let Ryan Sessignon go on free. He looked different gravy when he left Fulham, what happened? |
| Forum Reply | great song writers...... at 16:24 8 Jun 2024
Ani DiFranco. Owns her own record company and distribution, writes and plays on all her songs. She has released 23 studio albums and 4 live albums since 1980 and has a massive devoted fanbase and still touring. Fiona Apple is another I would include in that and is also a talented actress and an exhibited artist too. |

Why not give the money to a homeless shelter, or a soup kitchen where it will do some real good if you are looking to just waste money? |

His father owned a toolmakers company of which he was the only employee. As for being looked down on, I call BS. Toolmakers are regarded as the most highly skilled of all mechanical engineers. |
