Saints could benefit from this. Clubs who have played in the Premiership during the times of the charges could sue them. Burnley did the says to Everton which sets a precedent. Man C could potentially be paying out hundreds of millions which would bankrupt them. Titles removed and huge penalty points leading to relegation. |

So Saints send a kid to hide behind a tree and get the heaviest penalty in football and wider sport. Let’s see what happens to Man C and the 115 charges which amounts to systematic cheating over a sustained period. |

That’s what legal precedents are. Saints could refer to the Chelsea case as a legal precedent where, on appeal to the FA, an original penalty was lifted. The FA will argue that spying and financial irregularities are different but lawyers for Saints could argue the principles are the same and that punishing Tonda is in effect adding further penalties on the club. |

Related to illegal payments to agents. They were fined £10m and given a 6 point penalty but got the points lifted on appeal. Not sure if it was the FA though. |

There is a precedent. I think Chelsea successfully appealed to the FA and got a 6 point penalty suspended. Different case but Saints could refer to it. |

I don’t like their music but free speech is a basic right. Calling for a united Ireland or a Free Palestine are not crimes. I hate Tommy Robinson but as long as he stays within the law then he has the right to express his views. |

Just where do we go from here ? Losing yesterdays ‘must win’ game has according to the very definition of ‘must win’ defined our season.
In all honesty I don’t think we have squad to make the top 2. Lose Larin and there is nothing up front. Wolves had Jimenez on the bench last week. We can, and should make the play offs but leaving us with one striker is a risky strategy. |

Stop being such a baby. It’s September ffs. The season ends in 8 months time. We will lose some and win some. It’s the nature of the Championship. With West Ham and Wolves looking very strong with big squads we will pushed to make the top 2 but I’m sure we will be in the play offs. |

The only Arsenal ‘fans’ that can afford the exorbitant prices live in the Home Counties and probably work in the city. They put on fake mockney accents and use words like geezer or puckah just to give them an air of credibility. When they lose they take whining to a level only Boro fans can dream of. |

I saw Ron get on the end of many of Terry Paines crosses. Unfortunately for him and many others heading the equivalent of a medicine ball week in week out had grave consequences. He was though the best header of a ball that has ever played for Saints. |
