No obvious plan for the final 3rd of the pitch again, players breaking down at a terrifying rate and we should have lost 1-0. Yeah nothing to worry about because we are on 11pts, lets see how long the next 11 take when we can't score.
When Lampty went off we really needed to change shape but we just sat there doing the same thing over and over. Defence and central midfield were the best I've seen in some time but at what cost?
Still we got to see that strange little man Jones take another 6 months off his own life again. I think he may need help.

Burrell MoM for me, Madsen good again.
Attacked our wings all night and we really just let them, all very odd. Missed a Fullback that pushed forward on the left, but a solid shift from Field.

Freys pre sub warm up consisted of walking to the corner flag then half way back with hands on hips stared at the manager then a short stretch. Came off uninjured.
Nobody died.

After Sheffield Wednesday that was appalling, failed to cope with their press and ran out of ideas early it seemed.
We could have just man marked the better players and gone from there but no. The last 2 games have felt like a cross between Warbs ball and Ainsworth and it's awful.
Coming to the conclusion that half our squad are so bad they are even holding us back in terms of training the first 11.
Please let it be over. |

We wanted it more, played it through the middle a bit more and Bristol couldn't cope with us. Still need to learn when to take a risk and play the ball a bit earlier but massive improvement over Stoke.

Strange match, ref seemed not to hate us with a burning passion which was a welcome change. Even stoke helped us score a goal. Team effort from everyone ;-)
