So Called Global Heating Gas Market

I was taking to one of my customers at a industrial site that burns heating gas, he was talking me through his experience of gas prices. He knows this stuff.

We are repeatedly told that heating has is sold on a global market and there is nothing to be done about the price.

UK heating gas prices are currently 10X the heating gas price in the US.

So there is actually a fragmented global market that is influenced by the scale of local production.

If we produced more the price would drop here.

I've always worked on the basis of a fair exchange between what I produce and what I get back, what I get back is not just money.
I've taken voluntary redundancy twice, once from a Company that was taken over and I did not like the ethnics of the new business and the second time because the business became pretty dysfunctional.
I get quite a lot of enjoyment from my current job, but the travelling has increased in recent years as more and more work is on the other side of the Severn Bridge.
The biggest problem I hear about right now is the lack of vacancies.

To back up the observations about staff, one of my neighbours works on a high dependency ward. She has numerous stories that are not acceptable, the latest is about a patient who was being maintained by machines, when they sadly died to the consultant and anaesthetist refused to turn off the equipment because " the next shift can do it "

How on earth people think this is okay is beyond me.
