Yes, always amazed that people think the system that got us into this mess, will get us out!
Left or right these things always happen;
The size and power of the government only ever expands, never decreases
The slice of the economic pie taken by big multinational companies only ever grows, never shrinks.
Successive governments always wrest more power from the people, they never cede it back to the people.
Unelected, non democratic, supranational bodies, like the UN, World Trade Organisation, IMF and WHO only ever gain power, never relinquish it.
Wars that fund the industrial military complex never end, they just move to another battlefield. |

You're not wrong in what you say Grumpy, but convenience is the bedfellow of complacency, compromise, compliance and control. Giving what money the global oligarchs leave us with, straight back to them is short term gain over long term aims. Speaking just as much to myself here as you or anybody else.
Are we looking forward to the constant hum of amazon drones over our homes? |

Because we dont want to see boarded up shops in town centres, or the shops that do remain only being charity shops, coffee shops and turkish barbers. If we are happy to give all our money to globalist billionaires instead of supporting lical business, then we will get what we deserve. Once all the competition is gone and the city centre is dead Amazon can charge whatever they like and probably will. |

Yes, Paul Johnson writes an excellent biography on Tolstoy, where he covers this.
I am just about to read “Resurrection” that precipitated his expulsion from the Russian Orthodox Church - that excommunication has never been rescinded.
Try some of his novellas - not the war ones, The Forged Coupon for example is an easy read, carrying a great message of redemption. |

Thanks, will definitely check these out, I read a couple of Tolstoy novellas recently - The forged Coupon and The death of Ivan Ilyich, which I can recommend. |

Punishment should always be proportionate. Most neutrals would agree that the punishment to date has been disproportionate. Any more serious punishment would exacerbate that situation and lead even more to the feeling that SFC are being scapegoated. |

We probably all need to step away as Nick appears to be suffering from “bazunuitis”, for those who don’t know;
Bazunuitis is a rare condition, afflicting a tiny cohort of people mostly in Southern England. The primary symptom is an unexplained affection for a below average goalkeeper, it manifests itself in unfathomable support and an unreasonable interpretation of facts, along with selective memory. The remedy is usually found in replacing the below average goalkeeper with a much better one, but in serious cases of this disease the sufferer can convince themselves that the improved goalkeeper is in fact worse than the below average one, at this point the kindest and best solution is to ignore the rantings and gently move their attention to another subject. The prognosis is usually quite hopeful and often around the 3 year mark they will begin to recover and after 5 years all symptoms have usually gone. |

Bazunu nominal fee to Bolton and Macarthy dropped by league 1 Leicester. These were the goalies we were putting our trust in a few seasons ago. No offence, but glad to see the back of both.

Ramsdale may be the best keeper at the club, technically, but he is missing a key element. He doesn't seem to be a natural winner, rather he has something of the hangdog about him, his record shows he is a perennial "Jonah".
Peretz is the diametric opposite, which is why he should definitely be our Number 1. That charisma and personality is something goalies have or they don't. |

If white British want to preserve (for longer) their/our culture , they will need to form stronger family units and have more babies. They would need to put this above consumerism and materialism.
Asian families with multi generational living and lower material expectations are better placed to thrive and have more children, although successive generations will no doubt become more westernised as they imbibe the prevailing propaganda and replicate similar attitudes and birth-rates to the indigenous population. |
