Hi, I'm a Rochdale fan and sports journalist with Mancunian Matters. On my way to the game on Saturday I spotted a gravestone for Orisi Dawai in the cemetery, on which he is described as Fiji's greatest sportsman, so I thought it would be interesting to write an article on his life. Does anyone have any memories of him, or could tell me more about why he ended up in Rochdale? Cheers, Jimmy

Doncaster managed that very well, we didn't ever really look like scoring. Morley was good at centre-back and Kwadwo needs to learn to pass the ball.

Since we're nearly halfway through the season I thought I'd bring up my preview from before the season started, perhaps my predictions for Dale and Bury weren't so bad after all.

We haven't lost any big names apart from maybe Eastham and I think that a partnership between McGahey and Canavan will prove significantly better than the one we had for the majority of last season. Other teams that finished above us last season have lost key players as well, Walsall, Gillingham and Coventry being the main examples, so I don't think we've got anything to fear in aiming for a playoff place. I'll admit to being optimistic, I just have a good feeling about this season. A couple more signings are needed but if Hilly can bring in players that suit the way we play then I see no reason why we can't break into the playoffs this season.
