My dad was an apprentice in ebbw vale steelworks at the time. He and a load of colleagues jumped in Lorry’s with a load of tools and drove around to help. Thankfully for him when they got there they were told that there was already enough people there for the rescue and he didn’t need to take part in the horrific task of digging the bodies out but did witness the devastation first hand. Think they were then employed to bring food, water and clothes to those that had been displaced. Horrific event. |

Rumours swirling that everybody’s favourite tubby tyrant was airlifted to China following a suspected brain haemorrhage probably caused by his gargantuan girth and subsequently has shuffled off his offensively corpulent mortal coil and has joined his forebears in eternal oblivion.
Obviously any rumours surrounding the hell on earth colloquially known as North Korea must be treated with slightly more than a splattering of salt, he has of course disappeared before presumed dead only to rise from the ashes like a gormless looking adipose infested and overly sweaty phoenix.
If he is dead though it poses a problem as his only heir apparents are his 12 year old daughter and his batshit crazy sister. A problem acerbated by the fact the previously mentioned and potentially deceased obese overseer has had most of his family brutally murdered or exiled.
Many observers are worried that a power vacuum created by the demise of this blubbering mess of a human being could lead to a power struggle, civil war or a military coup.
Perhaps in a few days we will find out one way or another. |

Bit more composure from Cabango from around three yards out twice and we’d be celebrating a good win. Could have just passed it in don’t know why he tried to smash either of them. Those two chances alone were better than anything West Ham had apart from maybe the one on one which the striker should have hit it early and not taken a touch. |

Prisoners are known to be at a much higher risk of suicide. If he had taken the codeine away, stocked up on them then offed himself the nurse who let him walk away with them would no doubt be up on some sort of charge and sacked.

It is an absolutely ridiculously farcical situation but the judge can only really act on what the law says and if the law constantly creates these absolutely ridiculously farcical situations we really should be changing that law. But the government are so dogmatically obsessed with these international conventions the chances of us ever withdrawing from them and creating our own laws that apply both human rights and common sense are virtually nil. |

We’ll inevitably have a downturn at some point. It will all come down to how we react to that.
Encouraging thing is we were averaging almost 2 points a game under Matos last season too. If we can stay anywhere near that we’re looking 85-90 points. |

Just is the one who hasn’t really adapted yet. It’s not really working for him and he seems a second or two off the pace. Always look better once he’s gone off. He might need a few weeks to work on some physicality and get his sharpness back.
We’ve also got Iorpenda who can play there. Wonder why he hasn’t had any minutes so far? |

If he’d gone down it would probably have been a penalty and red card if VAR was in place. A good example of the ‘dark arts’ of defending.

He’s been parachuted in as a last resort because the party is on its arse and doesn’t have any other options. He ran for leader several times when the party still had people with a little bit of gravitas and got absolutely nowhere. |

Foreign Secretary on the news earlier said that the Russian interference was “unsuccessful”.
I doubt our intelligence services are innocent when it comes to influencing elections around the world either. It’s the sort of thing I imagine every country does. When we do it it’s “diplomacy”. |

Heading is an art that has largely been lost in the modern game. The power some strikers used to generate from pretty much nothing especially with those balls that used to be a lot heavier was something to behold. |
