MOTM is Edwards Well played to Kamara, Scarlett and Charles. The rest were ok/middling. Vale needs to do more, he needs to allow for his painful lack of pace by better positioning. Overall a good draw in a match we’d be nailed on to lose in recent years. Finally a big eff off to West Midlands Police & Railways for unnecessarily being a bunch of shi1s to the R’s fans at the station.
PS. As others have said, that’s a crap homer ref who pee’d me off more than once.
I count myself fortunate to have seen Marsh, Bowles and Taarabt play. Rodney and Stan were better players but Adel was without doubt the most talented man to pull on the hoops.
So many great moments. The goal against West Ham seems to get forgotten, I love how the whole hammers defence are just watching it go in, open mouthed and stunned.
Ref was very poor. Usually when a ref gets in a teams way it’s just unfortunate but his positioning was truly woeful.
Team all played well, Kone the exception but he needs our support not people slagging him of as I heard today.
I’m disappointed but not unhappy. Boro played well and looked like a team who’d spent many millions but still needed to play the dark arts to get anything. We deserved more.
They were a bit silly diving in with it as the “main tune”. Should have played it earlier in the mix for a few weeks and seen what reaction there was. Move up to the big time gradually.
I was a bit concerned when Lamptey came on for Cirkin. Playing on the wrong side and as rusty as he seemed last week seemed risky. Especially as their fullback, Alebiosu, was possibly their best player.
Can't for the life of me remember who it was but in one of our matches either last season or the one before an oppo player went down for a free kick just outside the box, told the ref it wasn't a free kick, ref ignored him and he then went ahead and scored from the kick. Bloody annoying.
Was it Swansea who also scored a handball goal the same as WBA's against us too?
