Sorry. As we CELEBRATE Adel on his retirement, we stone young Rayan Kolli.
To me..hypocrisy. OK maybe he does not start, but Alfie has as much ability to score as Rayan has in his ponytail. In games of late where we needed a finisher, Rayan's absence was amplified. I am not on the training ground so can hardly be an expert, BUT I will propose that QPR would be toiling in the lower league if not for his goals in the last 2 seasons.

'Wrexham smelled blood'. They saw the fatigue, loss of the most physical player(s), and finally could see efforts on goal. not following game plan, Dembele lost effectiveness, reverting to type. keeper showing his youth.

My observation: Wrexham ham Kieffer playing as Kone should. All their clearances went to Moore who then critically held the ball. Versus Kone playing deep in the box so we had no outlet.
ALSo. I recall a great out ball which resulted in Dembele tumbled. Then Madsen wastes the deadball opportunity. Maybe missed it in the write ups.
If we had Kone or Rumarm thats 3-1. |

Not sure the starting role is for him. Vale was selected ahead of him prior to injury and I think (opposition based) Vale should be the better option and Keeley next.
Dembele, to me, could be a high impact sub. |

I like Mbenge to stay at RB. Then Dunne can sit as a CB. If JCS can play then I think that’s our best back line. Also massive kudos to Julian on the Esquerdina and Keeley subs. I think Keeley showed a lot that we look for from Dembele. And Esquerdina could well be a good LW. |

Love a good discussion. Varane and Mads are the 1st names on JS is matchday line-up. But noted that Field has played more lately. For whatever reason he was pushed down the order but now is getting a better look. With Hayden and Morgan, plus a couple of Juniors I see no reason why it would not be prudent to take an offer for Varane with Morgan/Field/Hayden filling those shoes. |

Happy.
- As pointed out, and evidenced in the reverse fixture, QPR were begging for 1-1, until Kolli stepped up. Yes I am rooting for him and as pointed out in his appearances at the end of last year, he puts in effort! He tracks and he works hard up front. In his 1st goal he was involved in the build up. He combined well with Kone and I think that bodes well for what may come later.
Regarding Varane: I would venture to say, his lack of forward play is as much coaching/instruction as anything. Forward (in this capacity) is to find GK or Madsen. I do think Field could well get more minutes in Varanes role. [Post edited 5 Jan 22:39]
