As usual mate fantastic report and many happy for your birthday yesterday
Not sure being 1 down after 20 second affords you the luxury of taking this for granted... I just felt the injury to Vale completely threw us and JS... the Varane replacement was strange... the 20 second brainfart by Jimmy compouned it, but the sending off completely crumbled us... then the 2nd goal
So that makes the 2nd half even more extraordinary in my view, we could easily have gone damage limitation, put it down to one of those days (which we seem to have many) and move on... but as you say this team is made of sterner stuff
Been many a year since the old girl rocked like she did... the Leeds game was close... and the Leicester one perhaps... the come back against Liverpool another... but wow it made an old man feel young again.... nearly

Yes felt the same, that first half was pretty much football meltdown... we lost Vale in the warm up... for some inexplicable reason was replaced by Varane... Kamara move to the false 10... a goal down in 20 seconds... a sending off in 15 and 2 down by 25.... it was the stuff of nightmares....
And rightly, myself included, I gave them.pelters at half time... but that second half was nothing short of inspirational... a team that was so bad ... could produce that is nothing short of incredible
But this is about Alfie... in s lot of ways he reminds me, of Micky Leach... everyone then wanted him to be another Rodney and that was impossible... but he gave his all and was a true QPR servant
Alfie is a lovable lad, I really hope he can come good, but he does need to score, he is after all a striker... |

Think the defence stability as a lot to do with Charles. Being a defender knowing you gave someone of his quality behind you certainly helps your game
Hate keep bashing Walsh, but I'm sorry to say that he just isn't up to EFL standard |

I thought he saved it said after the game from SA I wasn't sure... but you are so right he is a class act
I was a little concerned with his lack of stature that he might struggle with corners/fk and some of the lumps you have in the championship.. but he must have a collection rate of nigh 85%
It really is night and day from last season... only downside is he isn't ours... can see why Man City bought him |

That is my basic take of it. I was in SA stand but in F block so it was directly opposite... and though obviously a distance away it looked very very bad
My gauge on things are if a knob End player did that to one of ours I would habmve been fuming... he may not have made contact, he may have touched the ball first... but he was clearly IMO out of control as he lunged in and could have seriously injured that lad...
I think a definite red |

I'm writing to the club this week and insist that we stop this coming onto the pitch with Silver Lining.........just stop it it is not natural
The Bastewards have got me believing!! ..........under the phrase Chalk & Cheese, there is the definition of it ......us first half, us second half
I could not have got a half time prediction more wrong........where on earth did that second half come from!!
We were amazing!! No beyond amazing, that was such a pull yourself up by the boot straps moment.
Where do you start, you had guys out there that ran their selves into the ground and more
Charles, I think actually saved that header onto the bar, but I was a long way away and my eyes are not what they were........Adamson what a find, what a 2nd season he was unbelievable
Ronnie is just class......and mad Ben run himself senseless......
Kamara well not sure what he had at half time as a pick up.....can I get some.........
Burrell ran and ran also......Poku was my man of the match.........
The subs were brave and well done JS..........these players have just bought into him haven't they
Ok there are negatives, again over 30 shoys and just 2 goals, a first half that was just criminal and Cirkin tackle.....but today is not a day for negatives
How can after 45 minutes you hate a teams and within 45 minutes more love them again.....only QPR [Post edited 19 Sep 17:21]

Dear oh dear...............one down after 30 seconds......down to 10 men after 15 mins and 2 down after 25..........to say that the game was over before it got going is an understatement
If this was ever going to be described as a "bad day at the office" it is this one. Jimmy was certainly mugged and I just can't believe some of the comments on here..........I'm in SA stand and that was a horrendous tackle, 3 game ban the lad should have 6.........sorry I know he is one of ours but that was a career ender!!
Then a mix up with young Scarlett and it is 2...........both chances taken really well by the way
So what now............really if we had any chance was to get one back before half time and it never really looked like it was coming.....
We have real problems here going forward against teams that just sit back against us.......we never look like scoring and this as got to be a worry going forward
Not a game to judge anyone really, but young Scarlett as got to come off.........and where does JS go.......in all honestly I can't see us even scoring today let alone getting back into it
The only thing we can hope for is no more injuries..........we even manage to get injured before a game starts!! |

In the car on the way home... great thing about this old age the young'uns drive
Well satisfied with that, a really good point hard earned draw...
Obviously the defence will take the honours, but a shout out to Burrell, 2 90 minutes games there... we need to be careful with him now...
Kamara came on and took control of that midfield... a class act
Nice little cameo from young Scarlett as well... and Poku did the majority of the game as well
Defence though was immense... mad Ben and Cirkin had decent games... and JCS was good... but MOTM was Edwards, best you can say it was a "Dunne" like performance... a real class act
Special shout out to Charles, for all WBA possession he wasn't really tested, but what he did was superb. And his command of his area is 1st class
The support again was magnificent... my first away day of the year well worth it |

What am amazing game this football lark is... we are behind the goal here on the right and I don't think I have seen so much of a game played entirely in our half... and then we go and score.. unbelievable
And I gather it was an OG according to the lad behind me... and Mepham lol....
Of the 5 goals we conceded I believe that is 4 of them from outside the area... we are certainly getting our fair share of good strikes against hurt
So we have now broke Smyth... there is a book going on here who is next... both Townsend and Stiles are giving our defence a real hard time... and qith Smyth off I can only see it getting harder
I'm not to down about this... be happy to come away with a draw and NO MORE INJURIES will be a job well done
Can see a raft of changes Lloyd for Burrell... Kamara for Madesn.... Adamson for Cirkin... and hold on |

So you felt Adamson had a poor game... Mbengue is the better player at this stage of his career... but think Adamson played well tonight...1st half he was going forward well.. and had Campbell under control ... the only time Campbell got free was down the middle
The lad tired towards the end... but personally thought he played well |

What to say... another game where we have dominated and another disappointing result
Some positives.. Adamson... Kamara... a clean sheet... a point away from home
But dear oh dear... we have more injuries and again no end product. Stay 4th and so have to look again on the positives...
WBA won tonight.. and with the injuries Saturday is going to be really really tough |

The issue seems to be it is no good throwing in crosses... the Charlton defence are eating them up... wecare having to virtually walk the ball into the box |
