Best 2 teams are in the final and really that is how it should have been.
I would most likely have done what Buttler did and bowl first, with weather about, but when they interviewed Rohit and he said no he wanted to bat... I thought oops
Be a good final, but think India will just have too much SA

Think he as literally painted himself into a corner here and he won't get out of it
If he goes for wholesale change, ie 3 or 4 changes, then he hasn't the time to change the system or bed in players.
I would be amazed if Sunday there is more than 2 changes to that team.
Surely he must know we need to balance it up and will play hopefully Gordon on the left and possibly Palmer.....
That would be Saka and Foden for me left out

While he is in charge possibly yes.... I honestly think this is a tournament too far for him.... and his best by date as long past
The players just don't seem to buy into what he is doing, similar to us under GA.
Such a waste as I honestly felt we could win this before the tournament started.
Another wasted generation?

We have had 70% possession.... so you would think that Boregate might say to himself... do I need 2 hold players.... I know I'll bring off Gallagher and bring on perhaps Gordon, as everything is going down the left.... perhaps stretch them even further...

Been reading and listening to the camp.... with have Borgate trying to shrug of criticism and the players having a pop at the pundits and saying that all is well and we are top of the group.
To me it looks and feels like a siege mentally ... that it is all the fault of others and that everything is good
Well they can quieten everyone tonight and play with some conviction, and a semblance of a plan....
Prove that only taking one left back.... who wasn't fit.... prove that playing players out of position is all part of a greater plan Shut the pundits up and the doubters by actually put on a performance that will shut everyone up

That is all well and good... but no win in nearly 2 months... no new signings since January.. an absent manager jollying it up in Spain... out I say out... get someone in that we can identify in... not these Johnny Foreigners with these new fangled ideas... whatever happened to the whole, they don't like it up 'em.
We are in danger of losing what as made us so special over the last few seasons.... Questions need to be asked and answered
