I’m of the opinion that if the club were in a financially soluble state, he would have never been given the job on a permanent basis.
But he can’t be here beyond the Summer. |

Hayes is absolutely carrying this team and papering over the cracks.
The sad reality is without him, we could genuinely already be in the relegation zone.
No point in having a club to support if we are consigned to the NLN.
Something needs to change and fast. |

Absolutely atrocious today.
Haven’t seen their first goal back but it appeared to be an absolute pea roller. I honestly don’t get the hype with O’Donnell. He’s not the worst keeper we’ve ever had but he doesn’t inspire me with confidence.
Defence was garbage. Keohane isn’t the same player he was before his injury. John kept wellying the ball up the line and out of play. Graham and Ebanks Landell (man of the match?!) absolutely bummed by Armstrong all game.
Diagouraga is one of the worst midfielders we have ever had at the club. You can count the amount of times he touches the ball on two hands. An absolute passenger who is just living out his final days as a pro. The less said about Ball the better. Loves berating people but takes no responsibility whatsoever. Brierley is a young lad so you can’t be too harsh but he goes missing too often and isn’t ready to merit a regular starting place just yet.
Odoh has flashes but has some of the worst decision making I’ve ever seen. Henderson, unless being played bang up front, is just another passenger.
Quigley is quite clearly a good finisher and the ball sticks to him when he’s playing well. But in games like today, he offers nothing and is bone idle. Compare that to a similar player in Beesley who ran his absolute socks off (which we are really missing at the moment).
All in all, really depressing and we looked a relegated team today despite the fact that it’s early December. |

I'm merely a lurker nowadays but I had to add that I've phoned into GMR in the past to tell them how shoddy and biased their coverage is and I got cut off!! This was in the Eyre era btw so that probably tells you all you need to know |

I don't really post much anymore but I'm still a keen reader of the forum and I felt the need to log in after seeing some of the comments about Rose.
We need TK back on corner and free kick duty. Rose can barely beat the first man whenever he steps up to deliver the ball into the box.
His passing today in the second half was absolutely atrocious, save for when he passed it 5 yards or less to keep things ticking over (he is absolutely fine in this department).
He has the Beckham haircut and the Preds but unfortunately for him, he will never have his passing range or his dead ball abilities.
When he doesn't go for the hero pass, I have no issue with him playing CM and think he can do a job there. However, his second half performance today was, on the whole, funnier than the Frog and Bucket last week. |

Don't post here anymore but gotta defend my mate SC here. He's a nice, misunderstood lad who just likes to rile people up. I can assure you that he would have been secretly loving it when Andrew banged in that header! He may well have been talking about wedding rings though or perhaps even onion rings |

No excuses. Very poor result but we were due one. Been incredibly lucky tonight with how the other games have gone. A win Saturday and we're back on track. |
