Is Obikwu the answer to our cleft back problem? This could divide opinion. [Post edited 5 Mar 16:38]

Blimey, now we are regurgitating a myriad of memories. Not all sad ones, but they do all end with a bitter taste! How that team (and the Gerry Francis 1 team for that matter) never won anything is ridiculous, heartbreaking, unjust, criminal, whatever you want to call it. Hey-ho.... |

Given they've pulled out of several UN agencies and threatening the same with NATO, once Trumpet realises that 'world' actually means other countries and not their baseball teams, I could see the US pull out of it! Thank God we won the Ryder Cup!! |

Speaking of big lumps, how's the Coventry kid mending? If I were to pinpoint a specific time when it all started to look and sound a bit sniffy to me, it was when people started to refer to football clubs as 'projects' and how they 'liked the sound of the project' or how the chief exec or such like, had 'sold them the project!' |

He isn't saying anything that we've either not said among our friends or been saying on here for years! I only follow the Rangers, really don't know much of what's going on elsewhere and if I do watch any other game, I rarely last a half. Said it before, say it again: if Rangers folded or, became a Premiership whore club, I could see myself not bothering at all. It's actually boring from Championship level up! |

Tell me about it! Big trip planned for my 60th. We're supposed to be transiting through Dubai for a few days en route to Japan/Asia, and then transiting back through UAE on the homeward. We're away for five weeks, so have booked lots of stuff over the last six months: other flights/trains, hotels and events, and some friends coming to meet us along the way. Right now, it is an effing mare, only surpassed by the QPR injury room, of course...need perspective at such times. Thanks Donald, you orange ctn! FIFA Peace Prize my backside...is Infantile going to ask for it back? |

Utter clowns. But then, if people continue to pay money for FIFA events, then this is what you'll get, so they can't moan!! I really hope their jamboree in a few months is a total farce, an utter fiasco, and a complete embarrassment for him and Mango. Not that Infantile won't be there sucking Trumpet off as Mango spouts, 'They tell me its been the bestest and most greatest World Cup ever. Totally great.' |

I think he's also directing Operation Epic Chaos. Has the look of a clusterfook about it. |
 | Forum Reply | Our ‘goal’ today….why was it disallowed? at 10:48 3 Mar 2026
Exactly! My first thought was he'd pushed/obstructed their keeper, but it seems the lino actually gave it for offside. Frankly, I'd have been annoyed if the roles were reversed and it wasn't given in our favour. Either way, it was typical Smyth. If he's not trying to get silly fouls, he's giving them away. Amazing that one of our only fit specimens also happens to be one particularly prone to bouts of maddening stupidity. |

Unfortunately, the recipient of the inaugural FIFA Peace Prize is determined to be the inaugural winner of the FIFA War Prize, solely to thwart our ambitions. World domination, like comedy, is all down to timing! |

Giving the FIFA peace prize to Trump beginning to look as daft as awarding FIFA's inaugural 'Standards in Public Office Award' to AMW! |
 | Forum Reply | Three game week - the modern excuse at 10:14 2 Mar 2026
I remember a few years ago on here, a long-running debate about how amateurish our warm-up routines looked compared to our opponents. Whereas the oppo would come out and go through organised drills etc., our lot ambled out, did some keepy uppys, bit of running and maybe, if the oppo were a tricky lot, a bit of trying to hit the crossbar. At HT, their subs bench were all out doing more drills and being put through their paces whereas our lot, not so much! That has got nothing to do with resources, historical or otherwise, and everything to do with professionalism. Whatever our plight, and I am sure we are paying a lot of moolar to the many individuals with the word 'performance' in their job spec, getting professional athletes: fit, conditioned, and warmed up is something we do seem to struggle with and frankly, I can't think of a valid excuse the club could come up with to justify it. |

Be funny if QPR told Williams to 'get on his bike!' Would be even funnier if when riding off into the distance, Williams were to pull a hammy just after the club shop. That said, Nourry does not strike me as someone imbued with humour, so we should hope at best, a boring AI inspired piece mentioning different challenges etc. [Post edited 2 Mar 10:30]
