If we took 9k last season, albeit a cup game and they were in the prem. Why have we only been allocated 3k? Surely its not going to be an issue getting tickets, despite it being 2nd v 6th in the championship. Have they closed the top tier?
It always surprises me that professional sportsmen think anything less then first place is acceptable. I guess you have to be realistic of course, but surely a natural competitive drive to win is enough to spur you on for top spot. It is achievable.
Anyway, I'm digressing.
Just my thoughts on Kolli. Is he just a product of some pretty poor standards and management over the years at QPR. Hasnt he been here since 9 or something? I'm not trying to excuse him, if he's not putting a shift in at training, but as he's been here so long, has complacency crept in?. Maybe he should go to another club? Just a thought.
A win would be nice, of course. After a strong start to the season, we seem to have plateaued already, in terms of player availability, just 6 games in, causing a bit of a slump in online confidence with this team, management etc. As we all know, to do well in this league, you need to hit the ground running and then keep that momentum. None of these blips where we lose a bunch of games or dont score 3 games in a row or whatever. Thats for losers. Im calling this the first official 'must win' game of the season.!
Those types of managers are long gone. He's working under a DoF regime thats chock full various bods with laptops. He'll probably be gone by next season you'll be pleased to know, but in the meantime, i personally feel he's doing a decent job based on the performances alone. Results are not bad either. Injuries are not helping him, as it looked like he was going to try and keep the squad rotated, and keep everyone involved. Thats not bad man management i guess.
This is a good point. He's young, clearly a decent player and reads the game well. Another two or three seasons under his belt , i think he'll be a step up. I'd like to see him toughen up a bit though, get more stuck into the opposition. He's more a Buzsaky than a Rowlands type player, i think. Does a lot of the nice stuff, but less of the dirty work. If that makes any sense.
If we're just speculating on contract lengths, wouldn't the deal be similar to the Dembele deal? Similar careers , young player with talent, gets injured, needs to get career back on track. In fact, we've had loads of players with an injury record, but are on decent length contracts. Kyle Walker was just on loan, hence why he went in January when he tore the championship a new one.
Yeh i'm gutted for the lads, they put themselves out there, to try and do something good for the club. They should still be proud of getting their song out there at Loftus road. Tough crowd.! We've all turned into Simon Cowell... lol The whole thing looks poorly managed by the club and i'd like to think the lads get given a chance to redeem the whole situation. This isnt the music industry, we're a football club, and two of our fellow fans put time and effort into creating something to be enjoyed. And they're up against The Clash ffs..!!
