Some football facts ...

I'm surprised that Laudrup was sacked at this point, but I guess it was foreseeable ... However it looks alot like a panic-move ... And in some ways the results of a board director who wants to affirm his power i.e telling the public that he is still the one "calling the shots" ...

Yes Swansea has been in a very bad bunch recently ...

However look at the opponents they have been facing, and look at the stats against these opponents from the past 3 years...

There is only 6 points difference between the 11th and 20th place in the PL this year at this point ...

Also consider the amount of injuries to the primary players in the starting line-up ...

This sacking still has me scratching my head ... - What is it that HJ (the board) is wanting ? Winning the PL ??? Because winning a trophy and still being able to contend with a diminished squad, in 2 Cups aswell as still having a good chance to stay in the PL seems not to be good enough ?
