The staff at the hospice are immense - no other words really for them
And the cat rescue has been up against it since they have needed to look for new premises. So many hoops to jump through just for a bloody cat rescue premises.
This is her 6th marathon - Did virtual London during covid and Manchester but they dont count towards her stars.
I went to Richmond Park with her on Saturday and cycled as she ran. She looks and says she feels in good nick so hopefully all will go well after her injury at the start of the year. Personally dunno how anyone does it. Most I managed was half marathons at the ripe old age of 21 |

That last paragraph in my eyes is the key to our season and how it unfolds. He has just not had enough time with the players to work on a way to break teams down who put all their players behind the ball.
I think against the sides like Wet Spam we will be able to play more open football but someone like Lincoln may be not so. Lets see how it all pans out but I am enjoying the start far more than I have for some years |

Keeping in theme with the sponsorship thread, we are in NYC for a week which obviously includes the marathon
This year, I am a lot more organised (or at least feel it) but I do know that LFW posters are a well travelled bunch.
So, I would be hugely grateful for some advice, in terms of getting from the airport (JFK) to our hotel (Near Grand Central Stn), things to see and do and also good reasonably priced places to eat.
I know when we did Chicago last year some of the tips that came from here were amazing so thought I would return for some more

She has been rambling on about some sort of anniversary - 50th anniversary of the 'Five Borough marathon course'

The way this is laid out is really useful. I really cannot believe that up to Lincoln we will only win once but hopefully I wont be eating my words after that run. I think we are too resilient this season to go that amount of games without anything.
I disagree with the lack of quality out wide. Smyth, Poku and Saito can be a real handful on their day and we need them firing more often. So we have the quality, just need them on their game all the time
A playmaker in CM could be Chair but to be honest it has been a while since we had one of those. I think the injury issue is something that every club in the championship is suffering from this season, bur we take a harder look at it because of the last 2 years and the man in charge of injuries.
And looks like just as we look to be getting Kone back on the field some tw*t decides to wipe him out today.
I think 12 points from those 7 games you have listed and I would be happy with that |

Hi everyone
Yes, its one of those posts
Mrs Superhoops2808 is running her 4th World Major Marathon in NYC on the 1st November 2026. She has already completed London, Berlin & Chicago. She is now at the halfway point and as she ran her first one for charity, she decided to raise money again.
The first is the Ellenor Hospice based in Kent. They took care of her Mum at her end of life and do amazing work with patients both at home and within the hospice itself. As we know all too well sadly Cancer affects a great number of people
The second is a Cat Rescue, Pussycat Lodge based in Essex. They are in the process of trying to raise 500k towards new premises. And let’s be honest who doesn’t love cats (apart from Nathan Jones – IYKYK 😉) We adopted 4 of our 7 cats from there and they do a much needed job of rehoming cats.
Anyway, this is the link to her page that tells the story way better than I can and any donations would be fab during these tough times. And even if you don’t wish to donate, please feel free to follow her journey.
Lastly thanks to Clive for allowing me to post this and John (PlanetHonneywood) whose book continues to be an amazing inspiration for her.

I think Saito is being judged on last season too much. He has certainly improved this season and almost back to the old Saito we had on loan. |

I think its refreshing for a manager to come out and own their mistake rather than gloss over it - He cant criticise the players unless he is ready to point out he set the team up wrong.
Fair play to him and another tick for this manager regardless of yesterdays result |
