OK this one is clearly a miss, but not all the signings last summer have been terrible. |

While the rest of the family were watching the god awful Eurovision on Saturday night, I finally got round to watching the documentary Africa Addio. Made in the mid 1960s it looks at the fallout in post-colonial Africa - it's brilliantly made and how the Italian film makers didn't die in the three years they made it, I don't know (although at one point they are nearly executed by a mob). It's incredibly visceral and sadly a lot of blood is spilt (both human and animal); it's a tough watch at times and it will definitely make you question humanity but it is pretty much unique as a piece of film making. It's available on YT, and I would recommend the original Italian version with subtitles. |

Discussing potential new managers in the pub last night before the final - lots of the names mentioned on here, end of the day, would any of them do any better than Cifuentes? I suppose we'll see! |

Normally Orient v Charlton I wouldn't mind either way. But Nathan Jones is an absolute weapon, the way he was playing to the camera at the end of the game last night. Come on you Os! |

Funny on the one hand if Spurs win, and Arsenal go potless again. But then I'd almost rather Spurs continue their trophy drought (I mean we've raised two trophies since they last won one!) |

I'm hoping modern professional sport science is brilliant, but yeah doesn't plantar fasciitis take a while to heal, and can reoccur quite easily? |

The old Valley had that absolutely massive terrace down the side of the pitch. |

Like I said, if nothing else it's easier these days to get on to the pitch compared to 40 years ago. Not that should be a factor when evacuating a stadium. You do wonder even today how some clubs get their H&S certificates. |

The back/concourse at Portsmouth I think might struggle in an emergency. Away fans will most likely say the same about the School End concourse. Probably better if I don't think too much about these things... |

I'm sure that it wasn't that long ago the Palace away stand was still wood? Or at least the seats were. |
