I think it’s time for a meltdown.
Losing this game has completely ruined our season.
I can’t see how we’ll recover from this. I wonder with 38 games remaining, Is Tonda our man ?? [Post edited 19 Sep 17:59]

It’s not funny, for anyone connected to Southampton.
They’re taking the piss out of us and our manager.

So in 2021 he joined The Arsenal for a record fee of 30 million.
He was their number one and Englands number two.
In 24 he signed for us and in 25 decided Championship football was below him.
Now in 2026 he’s our 4th choice goalkeeper who is on roughly 60 grand a week.
I guess he sees his career as a job and he can have a good lifestyle.
Doesn’t seem to bothered about moving on when he’s getting that salary for training..
He’s only 28 so probably has 10 more years in him. To be honest I’d probably do the same. |

Seems like you’ve answered your own question.
We are joint top scorers, have the best goal difference and only played 6 games.
Just because we play it out from the back doesn’t make it Martin ball, wasn’t Larins goal played out from the back ?
Agree about Flynn Downes, he should be made permanent Captain. |

Agree, he’s a slug in the highest order.
He should have gone back to his old club and help them avoid relegation to league two.

Yes it didn’t go to plan, yes he made the wrong subs.
If we stuff Swansea next week and our subs change the game, then he’s a tactical genius.
We’ve only played 5 league games, losing just the one.
We have 41 games left, get a grip and support your team.
This is Southampton, it never gets done the easy way. |

Yes, remarkable he remained injury free during our run in at the end of last season.
He might have issues with injuries but something tells me he plays it to his advantage.

Been watching some of these recently.
Basically it was a 80s quiz show with Dj Mike Reid.
If you know anything about music then this was the program to watch.
Impressively all the stars (British) appeared on it , from that time.
Worth a watch, if you’re into nostalgia. |
