He was really buzzing in that interview. His English has improved since his hiring, consequently he's become much more articulate and emphatic in his speech. Great guy, very good manager too. |

I actually thought Scarlett was one of our better players in the first half (a very low bar I realise.) He showed for the ball when he got the chance, and generally did something worthwhile with it. Given the shitshow the match turned into subbing him made total sense though. |

Quite. If we'd have won that game 1- 0 would I be happy? I s'pose so. But not as happy as I am watching our ten men come back in the second half from 0-2 down.
I get that it's about winning in the end. But it's also about how you win, and when you win. We're eight games into a 46 match season. I'll take a game like that in September, when I wouldn't in April, because I think it can lead to better performances down the line. I'd also credit our head coach, big time, for our second half showing. Applaudissements monsieur! |

Sure, and if it was March or April I'd agree. But this is the kind of performance that can bring a team together, even if it's only a home draw against a poor side. |

Won't see Koné's for at least another month then. Pity he's a big miss for me. We need a big bugger like him in the box. |
