I made it four injuries in the game today that resulted in substitution; Burrell, Varane, Poku and if u include Morrison in the warm up.
When was the last time that happened? |

100% pure profit against FFP if he is sold in the future as well.
It does feel like some on here are actively wishing that he fails, it's just odd. We need him, Morgan and others to push through for the future of our club.
Hopefully he has a run in the team and the goals flow. |

I think it is more about getting him minutes on the pitch as JS has said he is a CM longer term.
I'd sooner he played 20 minutes at RB rather than zero as JS will only put him in CM. I think it's good management and probably a template for how our DS are brought through. |

Why was this thread even started? Oh, that's right, the usual contributor who only seems happy when we are losing or some players are struggling. Build em up, knock em down.
Kone is doing well so far. Stepped up from L1 and a couple of years back was playing in Essex non league. Scored some goals so far and his link up play has improved since his first game. Scored only three games ago, but hey, let's put out a snidey thread to slag him off.
What the hell do people expect? |

Blimey, been bedbound with some illness so missed going to the Norwich game,but it's like a morgue on here.
It's been a lousy three games, but maybe a bit of perspective is needed. It's disappointing, but all the problems we knew the squad had all came to pass. All very fixable problems in January and next summer.

Yes, apparently we have bid already and been told no. Southampton have a decent record of selling at good prices, and if we won't pay plenty of others would.
He is desperate to leave, and we are his first choice, apparently.
So, Frey is probably going. Smyth new contract. New GK? Varane, maybe?
Think we might see a few in and out over the next couple of weeks. |

Well, if you have one midfielder who can pass and three that can't then that makes him by far the best we've got. Only have to look at the Oxford game at home when he didn't play to see what will happen to this team.

If he is injured for a month or so then that is the season finished for this team. 16th here we come.
Scandalous that we have no other midfielders capable of passing a ball 10 yards to a teammate. |
