Agree he was caught cold at the beginning and perhaps wasn't 100% yet. I was expecting him to muscle across the Preston lad and just use strength to shield the ball across him. The pass back was always risky and even booting it a bit risky so I was surprised when he just didn't use his height and weight advantage to just bully the Preston lad away.

Maybe came back a bit too soon given the injury but he was miles better second half.

Interesting that the commentator for this isn't sure it's a red. It was a red. I think we need to get over this and take the plusses. Smyth needs to hit more shots with his left foot. Absolute rocket. Whatever Stephan said at half time it worked.

It reminded me of a tackle on Adel years ago in the centre circle and the player that clattered into him at a similar angle and got a straight red. I don't think (although don't know) that the club will appeal it. I think he knew he was in trouble immediately and if you are that sure you were in complete control you hang around to at least protest your innocence. Dennis walked straight off. He knew he'd mistimed it and gone in pretty hard. I think we have to accept that although there was absolutely no malice or intent that it was a bad one. If that happens to one of our own we'd expect the ref to reach for a red. But let's see what the club does. On the upside Adamson is unbelievable and right now, actually better. I am sure Cirkin will learn from this.

Yes last season we lose that game 2 or 3-0. As soon as they came out in the second half you kind of knew we'd really go for it. We could have actually won it really but to salvage a point from a horror first half was very impressive. Adamson is suddenly an absolute player.

Such an impressive comeback from a horror first half. Smyth's goal on his left foot from that far out is brilliant and God you know we really could have won that game in the end.

Horror tackle from Cirkin. A Mark Dennis special unfortunately. No complaints. Adamson is a revelation. Looks so good and so strong.

Very impressed with their lad Kenny. One of those kind of players we could still do with.

Second half fightback was what the fans needed and they really got it. Massive 45+ minutes that was with a lot of belief, driven on by the fans who were absolutely brilliant today.

Not the result we needed but the class and character second half was brilliant.

Considering we are a goal down after a minute. A man down after 15 minutes and two nil down after 26 minutes that's a mighty impressive point and we were actually unlucky to not to win it.

Not the result we wanted but given the circumstances that was a very impressive second half response and they should take a lot of heart from that because last season and the one before that, we'd have never mounted any kind of comeback.

The Kolli answer was interested because it very much came down to a 'we only want players that want to be here' type answer. That coupled with the gaffer's door is always open feels like, we tried to get Rayan a move, his 'management' didn't want those, he's not really showing us he wants to play here but failed to move on but if he changes his mind and wants to play then the door is open.

I noticed that although Jimmy wasn't part of that conversation that his body language seemed to indicate that it's a place these days for people who want to sweat blood for it. Obviously Stephan is toughening up by the minute as well.

I thought Nourry and Stephan were very honest and straightforward. Jimmy was Jimmy. An open book. We want to be top 6 in the first 5 minutes of the meeting. That kind of set the scene and slightly blew Nourry's more mystic previous self of we want to be improving, allowing us to come 14th type thing. I thought it actually relaxed Nourry and he kind of decided that there's no point in being guarded on most things. It was good to see.
