Quality at the end , thankfully .
It did feel like we would get a late winner the way the game was going as many a time you could feel it going the other way (in the past)
I was moaning about the ref and some of the decisions...but i think he more than balanced it out with not punishing captain jack for the goalkeeper incident, (which in years gone by would have been a red for him) the penalty and sending off . which baring in mind i was in the northam , it looked offside AND outside the box .But obviously we will take it as it makes up for one of very many that have gone against us over the last few seasons .
Its just a shame we couldn't "bank it" and use it next Saturday instead |

I got a suitcase of old footy shirts i even have a mexican shirt in there, trouble is i cant find the suitcase due to a couple of house moves .Its either in the loft , garage with or been chucked out |

By the power of greyskull .
I was incensed at first when the penalty was retaken, my eyes still had the lad on the line ..despite it giving us a goal .
However having seen it back he was indeed off the line ,and the other bloke who cleared the ball out was encroaching by some margin so, fair play to the officials on that
It was a great game and we look great going forward another day we would have got a few more goals .
Im not that bothered on how we conceded, as it probably worked in our favour .The best line of defence is attack and all that . Ghana will be a different kettle of fish , will be like playing a very good championship side in the fa cup . Direct and pacey is my guess how they will play. We will probably concede but if we go on and score more than them who cares . |
